In the top corner, is the large meeting place which represents where life has settled for you now. A warm home with your growing family, united in love and the beginning of your shared journey together.

Flowing from this is a gentle pathway leading to two meeting places. This represents the joining of your two families. Marco’s side is depicted on the left, with extended circles reflecting his large, close-knit family. Beyond this, across the flowing water, signifies his parents’ journey from Vietnam to Australia. A story of courage, movement and new beginnings. The turtles symbolise long distance journeys, patience and resilience which is fitting in your family.

Kirsten, your family is represented alongside, with your connection extending through to your grandparents. Within this family circle you can see you Grandparents spirit rising gently into the stars. Their spirit is watching over your journey, offering guidance, love and protection from above.

The birthing cave nestled within the landscape represents the relationship between you and Edie. It is a sacred space of creation and new life. The tree growing from within the cave is a powerful symbol of life, strength, and growth, reflecting not only Edie’s arrival into the world but the deep journey that led to her being here.

Throughout the artwork, elements of nature and life are woven in. The sun radiates warmth, representing energy, growth, and positivity. The ocean flows gently through the piece, symbolising travel, change, and connection between places and people. Subtle fertility symbols are embedded within the design, honouring the strength, perseverance, and love that carried you through your journey. This includes the Butterfly, symbolising new beginnings, birth and change following hard times.

Dandelions are symbols of hope, wishes, and new beginnings. This is especially the case in your relationship as that is also the place of your first date.

The soft, sunset-inspired palette of warm pinks, yellows, oranges, and earthy tones reflects love, warmth, and the beauty of life’s moments, both calm and transformative.
